TITLE

Borderline personality disorder vs. bipolar: How are they different?

DESCRIPTION

This is one of the most compressive articles highlighting the differences between these two disorders.  “People sometimes confuse borderline personality disorder and bipolar disorder because they can have similar symptoms, such as intense emotional responses, depression, and impulsive behavior.  However, borderline personality disorder (BPD) and bipolar disorder are two separate types of condition with different symptoms and treatment options.”  The article is very easy to read and basically presents a synopsis and list of differences between the two disorders, the symptoms of each, therapy for each, and outcome.   Students will find it to be an excellent resource, and the professor will find it one of the most useful teaching tools.
