DESCRIPTION
Sleep is a major topic in Psychology. When asked about how much sleep they need, most folks answer with one word “MORE!” Sleep researchers have generated lists of “sleep hygiene” rules that, in reality, will improve sleep if followed consistently for a few weeks. However, there are some conditions (such as sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome, narcolepsy, severe insomnia) that require a sleep lab study. This article with an accompanying brief video makes an excellent adjunct to teaching about sleep.
